Through the years, my candle obsession graduated from standard to big name luxury candles, but managing to find an environmentally responsible, affordable candle that I could burn regularly seemed to be my biggest challenge. Finally, I decided enough was enough and I started crafting my own candles. I wanted candles that were ethically made, with natural ingredients I knew and trusted.  And that’s when Sól & Flóra was born.

Sól and Flóra candles, provide an unforgettable fragrant environment that elevates your home. We are the luxury self care habit, you can afford to have.

Sól & Flóra is a Latinx/Hispanic, owned & operated candle company in which we take great pride in. We are inspired by our cultura and are especially inspired by all the amazing women in it. We believe that our rich culture should be celebrated and we do just that through our candles.

LOLITABYLOLA

I decided to start my Etsy journey after feeling pretty established in my corporate career. Once I became comfortable, I realized I was missing something. Luckily for me, I have always known what that would be, that was design! My true passion lies in design, and although I love what I do in my nine-to-five, I was not actually designing or creating anything.

I decided to start my Etsy journey to be able to express that desire to create. However, wanted to make sure I did it in a way that it would “spark joy” in others. Upon filtering down my audience, I realized I wanted to target people like me! Now my target audience has become women, strong beautiful women! & if you do not feel very “strong” and “beautiful” today, then I hope your purchases in my shop makes you feel that way 🙂

Today, I am a wife and a Mami to a 5 year old little boy. I am very happy where I am today – however, it took a lot of work (and I mean, A LOT), to get to where I am today. Not declaring Success just yet! My next goal is to establish myself in my passion and feel confident enough to one day make it my only j-o-b, ALL while inspiring women (my favorite past time!).

♡ Welcome to Lolita! ♡

P.S. How did I come up with the name Lolita? My mami has been calling me Lola ever since I could remember. Upon researching my Etsy journey, I learned it would be smart to name my business after myself. However, did not find my actual name much fun 🙂 Lolita is me. Lolita is all of us!
