7 Things I Love About Christmas

1 . Family

When we have big family reunions we have so much fun together, everyone is dancing, drinking, singing and having these amazing memories to look back on.

2 . Food

Latino family we are used to make these HUGE buffet with all kinds of food, starting from rice and beans to chicharron, sancocho to flan. Some families do a get together everyone brings something which is also very fun to do.

3 . Decorations

One of the things that I absolutely LOVE are the decorations during Christmas time, put me in a WHOLE MOOD. With all the beautiful glitters, bold, shimmery colors. It definitely lifts up my mood.

4 . The Music

You know music is part of the Holidays and it literally changes your mood. Love everything music related especially during the holidays⭐

5 . Gifts

To be honest gifts are fun for the kiddos and they also appreciate the unity between family and friends. It makes them feel special for all the great things they have done whether it’s school projects or around the house. They definitely get a sense of fulfillment in some way!

6 . Vacation

Christmas vacation is a great way to spend with loved ones before and after Christmas, makes you refuel with energy, gratitude and much love. You have actual time to do all the fun stuff!

7. Movies

And to end this post number 7 is movies… since we’ve been very young we have watched all the fun, traditional Christmas movies. Many times we we receive a good, humble message from the movies which I very appreciate because children can see and maybe understand what the right thing is to do . Often times love, forgive, cherish and be for one another.

  5. These are my favorite things to do to! I don’t do the Christmas gifts anymore, I just get presents for my godkids but that’s about it lol. Family time and cleaning/decorating I love the most.
