Valentine’s Day & it’s History

Valentine’s Day is a few weeks away, many of us buying gifts, making a trip or booking reservations to spend it with your loved one. We put so much money and energy into this day that we often don’t realize.

This is very insightful! I had no idea of the actual history of it… I just know it’s a day that I don’t celebrate because every day should be Valentine’s Day!

Very interesting post, I enjoyed learning about Lupercalia and the possible connection between them two. I don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day particularly, but I think it’s a nice tradition πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you Olga😊 It is nice but shouldn’t be only one day. Showing someone the love you have for them.. in my opinion can be done everyday in a small way.

  4. This was really interesting to read. Honestly, I’m not big on Valentine’s Day. We don’t really celebrate in my marriage because we don’t wait for a specific day to show our love. That being said, I do love to see how excited my nieces and nephews get about exchanging valentines and celebrating with their friends.
