Self care comes in many forms it all depends on your lifestyle and what you believe in but one thing they all have in common is to improve your mental state and your quality of life. Many times when you feel good inside youโ€™ll also feel good on the outside. You smile more, you have more conversations going, you wake up happier and with more energy.

In this post I will show you different types of self care that we can do during this season. We cannot be supermoms if we donโ€™t take care of ourselves!

Write It Down

Like I mentioned previously take your notebook, journal or just your Ipad and write down your thoughts or how your days went. What you can do to improve my life?

Writing down helps to guide you also itโ€™s documenting on the specific time and date how you felt.

Turn It OFF!

I said it.. Turn off your phone, the television, playstation anything that is electronic. I have learned to distance myself from socials and/or electronics. Which makes more room to play board games at home with your family, or dominoes. Go for a pleasant walk we need that air sometimes. Have a face to face conversation with you mom,sister and your kids.

Taking this step is SOOo necessary sometimes and many times through the month. Youโ€™re gonna feel great!

Me Time

You already knew this part was coming right? The importance of feeling good from the inside and out, taking that extra step of taking care your temple, your body, your beautiful skin is a must for me! I cannot emphasize this enough.

Yes mom/girl friend you need ME TIME..Alone time to yourself. Put those kids to bed pour yourself a hot drink or cold one and make that priority of disconnecting yourself mentally and physically for just a few minutes. You need it. We need it!

Light The Candle

Go ahead mom.. buy yourself that candle or essential oils and diffuser you wanted for over a year. Make that purchase come on now. We do not work just to pay debts we have the right to enjoy for the money we have worked for. Make the first step by saying; โ€œIโ€™m purchasing it today!โ€ .

Treat yourself to a extraordinary most warm cozy candle that youโ€™ve always wanted but missed out on, each time you have the time to go the SALE is gone. I feel you..I feel you!

Another way to indulge yourself and your space.

All the mentioned Ways Of Self Care I personally feel so related to, moms and girl friends we need to pay more attention to ourselves. Love yourself, treat yourself, think and feel highly of yourselves.

Life is too short and we must grab all those moments we can to live it the best way possible. It always starts with us and our mentality, if we think poorly of ourselves our lives are gonna be the same way.

    You can never go wrong with self care and I love the ideas you have here. I love journaling a lot and I find it to be very therapeutic. I love candles a lot as well. They help me relax and destress. Turning of the technology and spending time with yourself is so important as well.
