I believe I’m not the only one that has changed in many ways during these years. Important to mention is that all we do right now will help us when situation gets rough-er. I sincerely believe that the current situation we are in right now is not gonna stay like this.
That’s why I’m gonna give you three tips/advice on how we can celebrate Christmas on a Budget or more efficiently.
Plan and Write Down Spendings
What I have learned over the years is writing down spendings and write down what you’re gonna buy but also it’s smart to write how much the item is gonna cost because then you’ll get a idea of how much money you’ll need. This allows you to have a grip on your spending and it will make you more conscious of money spending.
Do You Really Need That?
Another thing to consider is “do I need this?” whether it’s Christmas decor, plates, this huge over the top Christmas tree or that Gucci bag. Think what truly matters for you money wise, remember December is only 31 days and most of the time January many of us are complaining about payday being to far away. Make sure to save some money especially when you have kids.
I Can Reuse That From Last Year
Right now I’m talking as a woman I know how women can be, we sometimes want everything new but we forget the current situation we are in. With that being said why not reuse Christmas decorations from last year? I’m sure there are few items we can use again this year. This way we can appreciate more and add value to things we already possess.
For me these are my top three tips on how to manage my spending, also I have to mention that I adapted this habit from my partner. Very intelligent move because every where you turn around you see discount signs and you REALLY get this desire wanting to buy something. Curious to know what other tip you have when it comes to spending or being on a budget during holiday season.
Maybe Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from the store. Maybe Christmas… perhaps… means a little bit more!
